Whats the difference

Post by jd400_21x »

Whats the difference between say the walbro WDA-1 and the WRA series carbs? Can I used the complete overhaul kit for the WDA-1 on my WRA carb b/c i would rather use as much new parts as possible. Unless someone can clue me in on a place to get a WRA complete overhaul kit (not just gaskets and diaphragms).

Thanks

wda = tillitston hd carb the throat of carb is bigger allow better fuel flow on engines above 300cc.

wra = tilliston hr carb smaller bore for better mixing on engines below 300cc.

the carb kits for either tilliston or walbro d or a are not interchangeable.

MFG Supply, www.mfgsupply.com, has the kits for $26.

The WR and WD use the same parts.

This kit has all new internal parts. The $10 kit is just gaskets and seals.
