If done on purpase all I could say is what pleasure could you get from running over ducks. Reading the whole story is strange doesnt seem like there was enough traffic to do the damage. Seems to me someone would be going in circles or back and forth to hit that many ducks. What if the ducks were poisoned and the sleds ran over already dead ducks. Probably not but its a thought.

You would be surprised how many animals you can get in a single pass. A few years ago a semi hit 18 elk on a local highway. They were traveling in a herd of 50+ but you wouldn't think he could hit that many in one pass. I hope it was only one pass and an accident.

I really think that I live in an area full of idiotic riders with blatent disregard for laws and landowners ( seems to be popular in Wi lately ). I have been a bartender on the weekends for 10 yrs now on a major trail. I would say that 80% of the riders I see- granted these are the 6pm to bartime riders, have the attitude that it is their god given right to operate sleds on trails. I have went many rounds with the 21-30 year old crowd about how a trail system can & will be shut down if this crap keeps up. I laugh and tell them that the 9000.00 sled that Daddy bought them will have to be trailered elsewhere if this blatent disregard for the law & property owners keeps up. I had a group of " kids " in a few weeks ago and I was talking with a local that is the head of the Wis Snowmobile Safety in this area. The group overheard us talking and was laughing about the deer killing spree. I told them it was not funny in any shape or form and was told to " relax "... After asking them to leave, I was told by the majority of the remaining crowd - "good job". It is that mentality that will get this sport in a world of sh$t. I am so tired of this. I guess I am old enough now ( 35 ) to see the generation gap. When we were 18- 30, we didnt run things down, run signs over, go on private prop unless with permission. Im not informed on how old this last dipsh$t is, but Ill bet hes not older. I think it should be a mandatory law, if convicted of killing animals on purpose, causing property damage of a landowner, you lose your riding priveledges for at least 10 years, including the ability to register a machine. This action from my fellow Wisconsinites lately has made front page news on every local paper & news channel. If you know Wisconsin, you know that Madison is just full of liberal, smoke emitting machine hating tree huggers. This crap has to stop & stop now. I have printed the last 3 killing sprees and taped them to the door on the tavern I work at with a sign above that states " THINK BEFORE YOUR ACTIONS "! Hopefully it sinks in......

I hate to bring this up but I was poking around on you tube today looking for deere sled videos, whenI came to one that said "extreme DEER riding" Iwas shocked to see someone tie a dear to a sled and jump on the dear as the sled pulled it.I also saw on called "goose hunting with a sled" didnt open that one.
This **** has got to stop!! AND the little bastards have got to be punished for REAL not with a slap on the wrist.
