Got the liquifire running
Hey all, I got my 1980 liquifire running yesterday seems to run well sitting on a stand but it seems to run out of gas after a while.Im thinking the fuel pump needs a rebuild there is a bunch of air bubbles in the lines.after it dies it is a real bear to get started again am I on the right track thinking its the fuel pump? Also checked the compression its about 118-120 on each cylinder what should it have? As always any help is appreciated.

Some bubbles is normal.
120 is OK also.
How long does it take to restart? I am thinking it may be temperature related.
Engine warms up and than peters out. Possible spark issue. Test for spark immediatley after it dies.

The bubbles I spoke of were more like the whole line maybe a half inch long.I will try to get back out in the garage and check for spark after it warms up and dies. Thanks much for the suggestion
