I've decided to sell my 1980 Liquifire. What good is a sled if every other time you go to ride it something is wrong. I've put 50 miles on it, and every time I want to ride, I have to fix something first. I'm done, f&%$ it. It pretty much ruined my season since I sold my newer sleds....big mistake. I was thinking $1500 since I put $2500 into it. It's pretty much mint. It needs a CDI, and I have one for it. Let me know what a good price is.

I think $1500 may be a little steep for a liquifire that don't run right.

It runs right, matter of fact it runs great. I am just tired of spending 2 hours adjusting or fixing a problem every time I want to ride. I have parts beyond belief, it's just a matter of installing them. The sled is still in the "working the bugs out" stage, and I don't have the time to deal with it. It took 14 months to restore, and it was the biggest pain in the ass ever to deal with every step of the way. NOTHING went easy, or well. I'm going to find a Liquifire that just needs to be freshened up, not completley restored. I proved my point to my buddies that I could revive the thing, and it would take my buddies 2003 polaris supersport in a drag race, now I just don't care anymore.
