Me and my father-in-law are oval racing with these motors. Both are converted to slide carbs. 21 has 40mm 22 has 38mm. Both motors wont pull all the way to max rpm ,they seem to go lean on top no matter how fat the mains are. both are rebuilt (CORRECTLY), Running premium fuel 32/1 mix, timing seems correcct on both. Both motors pull very hard off bottom but throw the anchor before the end of the straights. I thought possible stock reed issues, if so what reeds other than rm 80 reeds could be made to fit ?
