Old Timers Classic, Lake Park, MN.

This Saturday the Midnite Riders Snowmobile Club has the Old Timers Classic. This fun run is geared for snowmobiles 25 years and older and has judging in many different classes. After the judging concludes the fun ride begins. The ride is a 40 mile loop that makes a total of 8 stops at local business. Including Audubon Liquors, Pit 611, Cormorant Sportsman Club, Randy's on Lake Eunice, Cormorant Pub, Cormorant Inn, Tri-Lake Roadhouse then back to Lake Park Liquor Store. Most of the stops have food and drink specials.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m at Lake Park, MN, 35 miles east of Fargo, ND on Hwy 10.

Trophies presented at 10:00 a.m.
Ride at 10:30.
First breakdown at 10:31! That's OK because they have a rescue truck with a big trailer to pick up the pieces along the route.

This ride usually attracts 200-300 sleds, mostly old but new are invited also. The ride is at your own pace and on any trails you choose so it's a great time!

Every year the Lake Park Ride is the same day as the Scorpion show.

But several guys do the ride and then drive to Crosby to make the ride there,which starts at 3pm.

Howard is there anything happening at DL with Rola on Sunday?

Yes, there is a ROLA race on the lake in front of the old Holiday Inn this weekend (it has a new name now). I think its both Saturday and Sunday. It's too bad it's always the same weekend as the Lake Park ride. Lynxer will be racing. I think you met him at Clack's in Menahga.

Huge turnout of vintage and new sleds in Lake Park yesterday! Lot's of Deere including Liquifires, Trailfires, a Cyclone, a JDX4, 300s, 400s and an 800. Here is picture of four of mine, plus we had the Spitfire along as well. Rode about 40 miles. Clutch went out on the JDX8 half way through so finished the ride on the Spitfire. It was an awesome day!
