I am still looking for a crank for my '80 Sportfire engine. It looks alot like this one (Crank). Will this work for my Sport? Are there any others that I can look for that will work for it as well?

That one :LOOKS: correct, but I can't tell you for sure if they are interchangeable. I do know that the Drifter uses the same engine. Arctic Cat also used some T7 motors, however parts are not interchangeable between the Deere and the Cat cranks.

I'll warn you that it took me 6 months to find a crank from a Sportfire that was parted out, and it still needed to be rebuilt.

Wyatt.. I am with Ken.. You better grab this crank and run..See if he will gaurantee it to be ready to use...I bought a couple cranks on e-bay several yrs ago only to find out they were in the same shape as the ones I had..Also bought a Indy 500 engine,New rebuild,,beadblasted..Looked pretty..Started it up..Bearing knockin.. I will not do e-bay no more..I would rather spend the money and then I know what I have..
