Nope, just got new glasses the other day :laugh: and recently spent spent a lot of time looking at on of those brackets while r&r a carb on a 73 super stingerette

go ahead say whatever you want the fans are the same external for jd machines. Kohler fans are internal.

/2 /3 /5 /21 /22 engines fans are external on jds which makes them a pain in the rear for belts. actual fan housing is different between these on one bolt located ontop of fan for engine housing. otherwise they are identical.

Nice try go bs someone else im not gonna fall for it.

i agree with yo one the /5/21/22 but before that they are internal and thats not bs. It sounds like you are a bit upset and I know that you are very familliar with this series of engines so I am sorry if I upset you but I am not going to go against the fact that the manual for these says /3 and before have the internal fan in fact it even shows the different types.
I am not an expert on this but seeing is believeing.

Your not a bit sore about the crank seal postare you?

Just got home, The motor is a KEC-340
Old sleds are hours of entertainment.... then you get to ride them for a little bit.
