79 trailfire color

Does anyone have the paint code for a john deere trailfire,either PPG or Dupont?????Or any info on this color....

The colour on the 79 Trailfire is called winter frost.

Don't get that confused with Winter Frost II as that was for the 80 and up. More silver in tint.
The 79 was just plain Winter frost and is more gold.

I was wondering if anyone has tried to tint winter frost 2 (available through case) to match winter frost, or if it would be easier just to get it made from scratch.

Your best bet may be to take a clean unfaded part to a paint shop to have it matched. Perhaps the hood, and have them scan from under a decal.

thanx matt, but whoever owned this before me sandedit down to factory primer and painted it blue!!!!!! So i am screwed on that idea....
