life time trip

Post by jd16 »

Hey guys i,m 16 and my name is jd and i went on the vintage ride and i tell u guys what it is no place for young kids. I couldn't keep up in the beginning but on the way back i was three -five feet behind the leader all the way home it was the best time in my life. I completed the whole thing with no problems at all nothing but gas i needed. I was riding a 1982 sprint fire 340 and a 7 inch suspenchon and wen i was riding it it was so much more comftable then the other sleds. Wen we were crossing the lakes i was scarred the first time because wen i was going i hit this chunk of ice and the sled almost tipped on me but i let off the throhtle and got the sled back under control. i would love to go again but if i could change any thing i would give every person a map and put people in teams of ten or 5,s because we were having a hard time after john carolson sled broke but we still mad it there and back so thats all that counts. i wanna thank todd [stymies] and his wife tracy and my almost uncle and aunt scott and terri for the chance to do this thank u guys. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=94766284&albumID=2721954&imageID=42719767#a=2721954&i=42719771

JD,

Don't be a wus. Us "old guys" made it just fine. Sleeping in the moving truck hurt way more than the ride did though.

Nice slide show, I loved the pic of Teri "waving" at you, what a sweet girl, LOL! Can you e-mail me the pic of me at the gas stop, and the one from the HOF of the sleds lined up. It's the pic from the back of the group, and you can see my Liquifire pretty well.

Thanks,
-Rainville

Did you mean:
"What pic's due you want"
Hi JD,

I was able to view the slide show, no problem. The links you sent me didn't work. You or Scot/Teri would need to send me the actual .jpg file. I will give Scott a call this weekend. Thanks for trying though!
