Nice find Frankie. I guess you know what you have there. :)

Scott did you see the Massey triple on ebay? They got the year wrong but it is a nice machine.

Todd, I found the one you mentioned. I wouldn't mind all 3 of the sleds he has listed. To bad I don't go back to work for another month and they are 7 hours away from me.

He now has the elusive liquid twin on ebay also. I have only seen one of these in my life. Too bad he is listing them now with the economy is the tank. Would have brought mega bucks a year ago. Maybe still will. Some more AIG money is out there.

Alright Todd now you have confused me. Were all 340 cyclones rare or jut the marauder?

These would both be 76 model sleds he has.
The triple (440) is the Cyclone and the twin (340) is a Maurader.

Interesting that both machines are missing the hood decal with the model name.

Maybe sleds shipped to Canada did not use these?

The first 440 cyclone I was looking for... The first owner that also worked at the local dealer had both a 340 and a 440 cyclone, I guess maybe they were not called a marauder in Canada. The only one I have really been around has cyclone on the hood. This many years since new it is hard to say what has happened.

You are probably correct as there are often differences in sleds destined for markets in other countries.

Either way the twin is a rare machine. Same as a Brute LC-29.
When Scorp built the Brut (note spelling) in 75 they only offered the triple.

Maurader

So is the above sled a custom creation then?

I stumbled on those pics last winter after talking to a guy that had a 440 MF cyclone.

I believe scorp also built a 340 in 75. Does anyone know what happened to the masseys that were on ebay. They were taken off.
