2009 Bevra Sno Motion Grass Drags and Show

Hi all,

We are in the planning stages for our upcoming vintage grass drags and vintage snowmobile show, we are considering having XC racing being the theme and I was wondering if some of the ETD guys might be interested in coming up to Greenville Michigan in August to attend with their sleds? Last year we did a tribute to Jim Adema and Wayne Koomen that was really cool and a lot of fun.

Sno Motion is Jack Nelson's huge summer snowmobile extranvaganza, featuring all the new 2010 models, trailers and a pretty good sized swap meet, along with snocross racing, Bevra's vintage grass drags and show, and other stuff.

Trying to get a plan going early this spring so I can get the ducks in row for the event. Would like to get your guys imput on if you think you might be able to attend or want to.

Hi Jon, I don't have anything in concrete yet as far as the XC theme, just trying to find out how many of racing greats might be interested in sharing there history. I think it's the 28th, and 29th this year.

Rich is correct, the summer snocross is the highlight of the event, I raced in the very first one he had back in 1997 or 98. This will actually be our 5th show and our 3rd time for the grass drags. The vintage drags and show really bring a lot of spectators over from the midway, and you hear lots of comments like "I used to own a sled just like that" and "wow, those old sleds are pretty fast"

The Adema/Koomen snojet tribute last year was fun to do, and giving the XC guys some props would be an honor to do as well.

We'll keep you guys informed as we get things rolling. Just wanted to plant the seed and see if it takes root.
