Just sayin hello!!

Just found this site, and WOW...so happy that I have come upon so many other JD sled lovers and so much useful information. My first sed was a 77 Spitfire, and although it wasn't a ver reliable sled, I still loved the way it looked and just how fast it was for a 340.

I have just got back into the old sled game since we moved out of Winnipeg and into Western Manitoba, so now I have picked up a few old JD's and a few other vintage sleds to be fixed and sold. The JD's will be kept for my own enjoyment, and restoration should start this summer on a few. to date I have:

79 Spitfire
77 Liquifire
73 JD 300

and I have stripped another 78 Spitfire, 75 JD300, and have a few more on the way to be parted out and one for restore.

Hope I can learn from all of yo here, and possibly even help out some of you as I go! Any other Manitobans on the site..I see 1 so far and someone from SK...but just wondered how many others I could be working with on parts etc.
