'80 Liquifire Carb Slide Sizes?

Post by wycrumb »

I started working on my '80 LF carbs tonight, I have found that my slides are different sizes, one is a 2.5 and one is a 3.5, is this normal? Any idea which one goes on which side of the engine? I'd like to get this thing running this weekend so any help is appreciated!

Thanks

The preferred slide is the 3.0 and not to common. The 3.5's are common and both carbs should be the same. The 6DH22-3 needle jet is also ran with the 3.5 slides too...

it has a 22 needle like you said, i dunno if it is a "22-3" though, is the "-3" the clip setting? If not what is the stock clip setting? Any idea how to tell which carb is for which side of the engine?
