Thanks to all those that have donated parts.

Special Thanks to Jon Carlson for giving me the oppurtunity to put Her back together again.

Well done Chuck. It's great to see JRC's 3rd place I-500 racer back into running condition.

Attached below is a preview of the work the NY posse got on the way to Princeton. It was very cool to see this sled up close and check out all the factory reinforcements and mods.

PS: Chuck, I have nos Kioritz pull start handles if you want one! (Unless of course you really dig that yellow one)

Thanks Guys.
There are no nos parts or touch up paint on this sled. This is a survivor and this yellow handle thing,,,Well lets just say that is what the sled came with. Maybe Jon can explain that

I did however add the chrome rear bumper. Just makes it a little easier to move around.

I believe if you watch the HOF intro video, you'll see photos of the sled, and I believe the yellow pull start handle is visible.

Maybe Jon snagged that handle off of a Doo that he blew by somewhere in the woods.

I like it Chuck. "As found" has a place just as "as built and as restored"
Nice Job!

I personally found the factory pull handle hard to deal with when wearing gloves sufficient for cross country racing. I"m pretty sure we went to a small engine shop in Fort Wayne and bought a larger handle. I'm using the larger handle today also.
