Need Help finding these parts!!!!!!!!1

Post by ajb399 »

I was wondering if anyone know where I can get JD part# M66005 and M67646. One part is the rubber bushing or grommet that goes into the Fuel tank, and the other part is the metal connector that goes through that. Both pieces on my sled are rotted away and its letting fuel leak from my tank. The connector also has a hole rotted in it and is letting air into my fuel line. So help would be very nice!

Go to your local sleds parts store. The rubber and the fitting are still used on sleds and are available. I have never bought a fitting but the rubber is about $5.00

I am quite sure the M66005 is still available right from Deere, not sure about the metal insert, but it would make sence that the match part should be available.

I just purchased new jackshaft and drive axle bearing at my local JD dealer for my 340/s, so at least a few parts are still available such as the 73-84 tail light ass'y.

Joe is correct in that the grommet is still available from Deere. M66005.

I ordered several things through JDParts.com a while back.

The M66005 bushing is still available, but it will probably come a rusty red color.

While you would think M67646 would be available as well, I don't believe it is.
If you do a "where used search" M66005 comes up in many things, M67646 only in a few sleds.

Where the rubber bushing is used in lawn mowers, or bigger tractors, it seems to be used with an elbow, rather than the straight M67646 fitting.

Thanks for the help! I was able to get the bushing that I needed, now there is no more fuel leakage from the tank. You all have been very helpful!
