Broken JD300 Track

What do I do? My track has a rip about 5 inches across the track from the side, then the rip takes a 90 and goes for another 4 inches or so. Are there new tracks still available? What are the chances I can repair it? If so, how do I repair it. Has anyone fit a 15x121x2.52 standard track on these john deere sleds?

There are 3 or 4 used tracks for this sled on EBay right now. Search " John Deere Snowmobile Track"

Where abouts are you located it the province. A friend of mine has a barn full of 00's, should be able to get you a track. Generally speaking those tracks out live the sleds.

Just moved down to Roland in the spring, I work in Carman for the highways. The tracks are out by Brandon, good to know that there is a few JD guys around here. Send me a PM if your interested in a track, should be able to get one in a week or so.

Had a track litterally fly off my 76 300. I was playing with the carbs, lifted the back end up, revved it up, and the track flew off, hit the work bench and almost went through the window above the bench. Could only start laughing.

I guess I stand corrected, but there is alot of the 00 around with little more than a track and bogie's left.
