electric start

hey guys. i recently picked up another '74 400 and this one has electric start. is it just as simple as taking it off and mounting the whole setup onto my other running 400?
any comments apprecitated

what battery do you use? and what kind of cranking amps do you need?

The battery type/group is a 10U1L type baattery. It has a 300 CCA rating. You can get them anywhere that sells small batteries. I bought mine at my local JD dealership for around $32.00. I also installed a "Battery Tender" to maintain the charge during the down time.
