Thank you Jon and of course Chuck for bringing back #54. While it looked pretty cool hanging in the Balsam Lake cabin, it looked even better seeing Jon ride it on Friday. Brought back some great memories. Chuck and I almost got to ride together on Saturday but I messed up and followed the wrong group..........sort of like when I raced.......

Thanks again for preserving history.

Chuck, it was a honor to be able to take #54 for a spin. What a great job getting #54 up and running. What a gigantic part of history in our sport. Last but not least Jon Carlson is such a class act and has done and is doing so much to preserve the sport we love so much. Thanks Chuck and Jon!!

I'll admit, Chuck let me take ol #54 for a spin and truth be told, it was bucket list material. The only thing I am unsure of is the twist grip throttle. Didn't feel real comfortable with it.

Still an honor. Thanks Jon and Chuck.

Seeing Chucks reaction, it was like watching the end of the movie old yeller when they rolled 54 out of the ballroom at the end of sunday. Can't say I blame him he had a lot of dollars, parts, time, and passion into bringing it back. Great job Chuck!!!! Everybody appreciated your job well done

Chuck went above and beyond the call of duty to bring #54 back. Well done Chuck! It was great to see JRC ride it on Friday, even though I only caught the tail end of his ride.

It was also very cool of Jon to let it be known that it was ok to let the jdsleds guys ride it. I know it's a moment I wont soon forget. I didn't mind the twist throttle, but nor to I plan to install one on any of my racers. It was neat, but took some getting used to.

Here is Sidekick Nick after his ride:

And me after returning from my joy ride:

And finally Duane looking pretty happy to have riden it:

This was just one of many, many cool happenings over the weekend!
