I took a few motor pictures. I probably didn't get any that would help. I did read the motor tag and it said 440/5. I wouldn't have a clue but maybe they aren't even the correct mikuni carbs.

I would bet the carbs are right, They are stamped on the back side of the choke plunger. Between the Carb and the Motor. Either JD 295 or MKA. They look right to me.
Old sleds are hours of entertainment.... then you get to ride them for a little bit.
