got my extra parts down here so i can do some more cleaning, got the front engine mounting bracket cleaned up, brake disc, replaced the thum throttle that was used for a brake lever with an break lever from my extra parts and cross shafts all cleaned up as well

i am thinking about making a set of aluminum skis using wahl ski blanks heres an idea i drew up on the pc of them

took the steering post to class today and use a pipe cutter to cut the steering post clean so now ill be in search of a 4 bolt steering post that i can fabricate to fit the steerign post off the deere, and i took the mini grinder with a brillow pad and cleaned it up as well

thinking about going to my girlfriends house today to work on the cyclone chassis i wanna remove the belly pan from the chassis and get it all degreased and air craft stripped today and pound out a couple of the small dents on the bottom of it so i should keep busy for the rest of the day :popcorn:

hey !! if youre taking the pan off ,get yourself one of those fiberglass pans !! rainville has them too wade

after i got looking the belly pan is spot welded to the tunnel, i thought it was rivited, are the liquifires the same way as the cyclone i have where it is spot welded wrather than rivited together? well anyways i got the dash assembly off and the dash vents so thats whats next for cleaning up

i think they are all welded ,it would be messy to take them apart just to clean up ,id think but just me, some stripper and a pocket full of quarters at the car wash and id think you could get it pretty well cleaned up but like i said thats just me wade

yeah i will have to get some more engine degreaser, a brush and use a garden hose to blast away most of the dirt and grease, then use some of the paint stripper that you apply with a brush and i think you would be able to hose it right of with a pressure washer it seems, the chassis is going to be painted the same color as the dator shade of green im thinking, heres the latest progress i got done tonight cleaning up the dash panel and removing the paint

got bored so i decided to do some more cleaning tonight cleaned one of the dash pannels then the rear belt guard mount then i ran outta air craft stripper :bonk:

thanks, i have a couple dash assemblys that im trying to decide what gauges i have are the best for it, then ill have to find a temp guage for it, not sure if it will actuall be functional of just for looks on the outside, hopefully ill be able to sell my dodge ram, and my quad buy summer so ill have $$ to put into the build

You may be able to find an EGT gauge to fit in the whole or a cylinder head temp gauge. The EGT would be nice for tuning purposes

thats true im sure i could fab a set of EGT guages in the expansion part of the exhaust chambers or would it be better to put them closer up to the header pipes for a more accurate reading?

EGT probes typically go in the exhaust manifold, a precise distance from the center of the piston or edge of exhaust port. Instructions should come with the gauge.

ahh ok, ill have to get a twin set up i had a digital dispaly for a triple and i sold it to a friend for his polaris centurion he grass drags in ny i cant wait to order the set of pipes and get them here to check them out and tape them together to see what they will look like
