I thought I had a picture but I can tell you that there is a 2 inch or larger strip of wood running down each side which lays inside a molded pocket of the foam. The underside of the foam is contored to fit over the heat exchangers.

you can also cut a 1/4" piece of plywood to the shape of the bottom of the seat. Then use T nuts to fasten in the rear. Use staples along the edge to fasten the seat cover to the wood.

The wood is glued with the appropriate adhesive. As 427cobra said, install 1/4x20 Stainless T nuts in the wood first so you can anchor the seat to tunnel from underneath. Since the 76/77 Liquifres use tunnel heat exchangers, you cannot use a full solid piece wood under the seat, only the side strips.

When I had to repair one of my LF seats there were 2 or 3 strips on vinyl that went across the bottom to keep everything tight. Not sure if this was stock but I am pretty sure the seat was original.
