Re: new liquifire
I guess I don't understand why anyone would swap a Dator suspension ( heavy or lite ) for the 78 CC suspension??

Re: new liquifire
Maybe something happened to the skid and all they had was a left over dator suspension available for the next race?

What is the # range? Mine is a J34LG081014M , not that far off, but I sure don't think mine's a CCJD600 wrote:I wonder if the track has been changed somewhere along the way? That number falls in the range we all look for.
DE

Re: new liquifire
This one is definitely a diamond in the rough. I pointed out some things about it when we looked at it. It does have the heavy dator susp with the wheel kit. Why it was changed I never got a reason but he guy who raced said he changed it just before he traded it off yrs ago. I'm glad I could help out and I even got some good parts out of the whole deal. No CC parts but good parts for other sleds.
Good luck on the project.

Smit,
Very cool and interesting find. Why the heck you would preplace a light weight, longer travel suspension with a Dator heavy unit is kind of interesting...

Re: new liquifire
i went with Dustin Erickson to look at the sled, that day we got to visit the racer of that sled and got some parts
Dustin had found the history on the sled for me and will be able to fill that in for you... i dont think it was a numbered sled, ran local races
im thinking about swaping an arctic cat track in it and using the liquidator suspension, the track that is on it will work im open for ideas here
ill be looking for a seat but for now i will be using one off an 800 model
i need a glove box door and a bumper..

Many new and used parts available, I ship anywhere. Thanks everyone.
