FYI, I will be getting the M67976 hoses remade

Post by ICCSF 108 »

As soon as I get a hose to give to the re-popper I will be getting the 80-84 Liquifire M67976 lower hose redone ( this is the hose that wares against the steering post)
If anyone has one of these that has the ware spot on it please send to me..

I just stripped a 80 Liquifire to start rebuilding. I know the hose is there, but what shape it's in is not clear this morning. I'll check it out & get back to you later this afternoon. Dave

Kenny,

If the cost isn't too bad, I could use a few of the 340/s air hoses that run from the air box down that air duct on the motor (that I am having redone).

I've got the hose in the truck if you still need one. It even has the famous rub mark :doh: . Let me know if you'd like me to send it you're way. Dave :beers;

Kenny - I believe that 340/s hose is M65914. At one time Brian was looking for one for the MAW sled. Not sure if they found an alternative?

Kenny,
The hose with spring, goes out tomorrow, you should have it by Thursday, or Friday. FYI, I have 2 hoses, one from an 82, and one from an 83. Both have 3 wear marks on them, all 3 in the same location, they look identical. You will see this on the one I sent to you. I'm assuming this is the normal wear pattern on all 80-84 Liquifires.
