340 spitfire twin carb?

i have johndeere spitfire 340 f/a 78 model with the kohler i would like to put a twin carb is tha possible if so is there a kit for them whats the pros and cons? thanks

IN my opinion all the spitfires ( no matter which engine ) Snowfires & Sprintfires, Had more than enough HP in them & unless you can find another way of getting a higher gear ratio to make them go faster nothing you do engine wise will gain anything other than look cool, use more fuel, or sound louder..
Again only my opinion

:idea: :think: I wonder if putting a Comet 108 Overdrive clutch would make more speed? IF it would fit in the Chassis :whistle: :popcorn:

thanks for the feedback one more queistion could i put a comet clutch in it to get a little more puformence in it.

The Duster is a Comet clutch, & for a small sled I don't think you can beat the Duster for performance & easiness of tuning, although it does lack in speed because of it's OD.. I'm not sure how much clearance there is between the chassis & the Duster to tell you IF a larger Dia. Comet like the 102C or 108 OD clutch would fit??
I'm assuming that you already have the 8 tooth drivers on the sled?? IF NOT then this is a must.
