headlight wires

Post by veecat »

good day, i'm wondering the headlamp wiring route on my 77 cyclone. when i got the sled it went down and under the motor and up the left side. on my 76 parts sled it it follows the bumper around and through the center bulkhead support and up the left side. which is the factory route? thanks, dan

Veecat,
My 76 Liquifire was different from my 76 Cyclone but they sound similar to your discription. It is problably how ever the essembly guy decided to run the wires. Here is a picture of my 78 cyclone, the wires run down under the jackshaft, then anchor to the right side frame rail, then run along the inside edge of the subframe, going under the subframe in the valley of the pan, then up to the bumper, anchoring to the hinge bolt, then up the under-side of the hood, anchoring to the prop rod, going under the alumium plate behind the headlight.
