440-22 duel carb size?

440-22 duel carb size?
I am planing on building a dual carb 440-22 engine with a pipe off a 800 for my 295/S that is missing its engine. What carb size should I run? Torn between 34mm off the first gen Liquifires or the later 36mm.

I would stay with the 34's, This way you can used the 2 piece Liquifire air box.. " easy to get on & off " Unless you can find a 295/S air box & then the 34's would also fit that..
I personally don't like the PJ carbs..

I did the same thing on one of my sleds. 34mm's and the dual intake from a 77 Liqifire on a Cyclone engine. Plus a narrley set of tunner pipes.

Why not the PJ carbs. I have no preference just wonder what would be a better choice? Also how well does the Liquifire air box fit behind the cowl on the mid engine sleds?I personally don't like the PJ carbs..

The engine is not in a Deere. I put the modified Cyclone setup in a 70 Scorpion Stinger.
