proper skis

my 77 cyclone is in need of the proper skis. i have a mismatched one . i have a decent pair on my 76 cyclone parts sled but they have a flat bar in the center of ski. not right fore a 77 as they went to multileaf spring instead of single spring? i found a set from a 77 liquifire in the local sled salvage yard, without the flat bar. i checked the part # and seems to be right, so they'll be oem correct? i have a 79 liquifire complete but rough, 120# both sides, would trade for a cyclone tach and windscreen. dan

Deere used the multiple leaf setup until 78 or for sure 79 models. The 1977 literature pictures show multiple leaves while the sleds for 78 have single leaf skis. Typically something this critical would not be a running change, but stranger things have happened.
