Found a stator from a 1976 Cyclone,will t work on
a 1976 Liquifire?

Yes, the wires will be longer than needed, just wire-tie them together.

I "think" my 295/s has a cyclone stator in it...any one have a full crossover list?

The 295/S stator/CDI would have 3 individual electrical sockets with male/female plugs.
The 76 Cyclone/Liquifre stator/CDI combined the wires into 2 rectangle shaped connectors.
Any 295/S owners feel free to correct any errrors.

As far as I can tell, all the Prestolite stators are the same. The difference is in the wiring.
The 295/S and 340/S have the same three plug system.
The early Cyclone and LFs have the rectangular plugs, and the '78s had a round plug, at least to the CDI box.

Thanks Brian. I thought the only difference might be at the plug...this should gives a guy a few more options to get back on the trail provided they are comfortable with modifing the plug end.
