Fully restored 1978 340 cross-country Liquifire for sale. Only 174 were produced! Every part has either been painted or powder coated. The motor is rebuilt with stock bore pistons and rings along with all new gaskets and seals. The clutches are both rebuilt and so are the carbs with new seats, needles and jets. The fuel pump is rebuilt and the sled has new fuel lines and tank pick up. Every part has been rebuilt or replaced with NOS. The track is NOS Arctic Cat and the suspension has new springs and shock. All wheels are rebuild with new bearings and the drive gear has also been rebuilt with all new bearings. The hood and tunnel are repainted and have new reproduction decals applied. The windshield is new and the seat is professionally recovered. The handle bar switches are NOS and so is the tether switch. The sled also has CC bars, toe holds, chain tension update and the four small extra bogies on the skid. The skis are race reinforced along with the undercarriage. The sled does have race history! It was purchased in 1978 for the sole purpose of racing in the 1978 Eastern Championships in Vermont. The sled finished in third in the pro class. I have a newspaper article, 78 snow-goer (picture of race and sled in it) and a picture of the sled on the start line that will be included in the sale along with some signed memorabilia buy the gentlemen that raced it.
