Oliver88,

"Value Questions" are the hardest to answer, because it's hard to tell what two guys will bid one up to on Evil Bay. That said, I paid $1,200 2 years ago for a decient 84 Liquifire and a basket case to go with it. Horicon Joe got something like $2,400 a year later on Evil Bay for one. If your selling, you want to hear it's worth $2,400, if your buying you want to hear $1,200.

The 84's are deffinately the most valuable Liquifire this side of the 78 Cross Country Liquifire, and had the lowest production number of the regular sleds. Only 420 were built for 84.

I hope this helps, but it really depends on the market.

Oliver,

I believe many of us on this site know what 84 Liquifire you are referring to. Correct me if I am wrong but is this the one you had in classified for $400 and then decided it was worth more?

I few years ago at Waconia I saw this newer black John Deere for sale on the lake on Saturday, not thinking much of it I walked on by. On Sunday it was still there so I started talking to the guy and I ended up buying it for either 625 or 675 I dont even remember the exact price.
This was my first Deere sled, so I found out about the limited production of this sled on this site. I run it every year at Waconia and Stephen, Mn trail rides, except one year when I ran a Mallard (Chuck Mosers favorite Sled lol) It has been a very trouble free sled and very glad I bought it when I did!
