I am having problems with the clutch side cylinder always flooding on this engine. I checked compression and it is at 120 on the clutch side and 125 on the recoil side. This engine's top end was redone late last season and has not been run much at all. It did have the JD Walbro WD carb on it and now I have a Tillotson HD on it. Both were rebuilt with new diaphragm kits. The pulse line looks good and is connected to the clutch side of the engine. I am getting alot of fuel just dripping out of the exhaust and it only will try to run on one cylinder due to the other being flooded. Both sides have decent spark when the plugs are laid on the engine.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be going on?
Thanks!

Maybe a weak coil? Have you changed plugs to make sure you didn't get a dud?

In my limited experience, every time I have unburned fuel coming out the exhaust, it's because a plug is not firing for some reason.

I've had bad plugs, and had wires that were funny and when they were bent to check the plug worked great...then when I put it back on the plug in the cyl it stopped firing. Might be time to cust 1/2" off the plug wire and screw the boot back on to a new spot. Make sure it's really good spark...not just there..
