KEC 440 RV

So this kec 440 22 engine that was in this 74 JDX8 has a sticker on the top of the engine shround that reads "KEC 440 REED"

Have not seen that one before. Is this a replacment engine??

The engine in my 75 JDX8 has the same sticker. I thought the 74 X8 had the KEC 440/21 series not the /22.

73 has the 21.

Todd's correct. '73 /21...'74 /22 points...'75 /22 with dealer installed CDI most likely.

I 'm not sure if it has any sticker on it.
