74 Yamaha SL

Post by JDT »

I have a 74 Yamaha SL338 F engine torn down for a complete rebuild.
My replacement gasket kit has somewhat thick fiber head gaskets.
The original head gaskets were thin copper.

So my question is which ones to use.
Comments appreciated.

My comment is what a bizzare PTO shaft setup this engine has.
Another noteable comment would be about the machining on the crank. Beautiful!
