Sprintfire 340 L/C

Post by bladefever »

What parts does the 340 L/C share with the F/A 340 ? Crankshaft / stator / rods?

Thanks

bladefever. To answer your question, no parts are shared between the two engines. The Kawasaki L/C engine was designed specific for the Sprintfire only, and only manufactured for the 3 years. That is why parts availability for these engines are hard to find, like pistons, rings, ignition modules, etc. But they were and still are a remarkable little motor. Hope this helps...Rob.

I wouldn't part that engine out if it's still in good running condition.

The motor may have only a couple of hours running time on it. It has an X in the serial number may have been a pre pre production engine. Complete needs carb and exhaust system every thing else is there.
