Hey all,
I live in Phoenix AZ so I don't have a sled...I have a lifted EZ-GO golf cart. I picked up a '73 CCW KEC-340/4 on eBay to put in it. I've gone all through the engine and it is ready to go, but I've hit a brick wall for a replacement carb. The WDA-32 that came with the engine is unsalvagable. I only see a WDA-31 on eBay and I have no idea what else I can use on this engine.
What do you guys put on them if the originals are no longer usable?
Thanks,
Steve
P.S., this site has been a wealth of information...I thank you all very much for all that you've recorded here. Based on what is here, I've been able to determine the '72 KEC-340 engine I was sold was actually a '73 KEC-340/4 (30 mm shaft instead of the 25 mm among other differences) which allowed me to order the right seals, rings, bearings, plugs and gaskets.

Re: 73 KEC-340/4 Walbro WDA-32 carb replacement
There are a variety of Walbro models you can use. Another option is a Mikuni 34mm slide valve w/ separate fuel pump.

Re: 73 KEC-340/4 Walbro WDA-32 carb replacement
Caught a WDA-33 on eBay 20 minutes after it was posted. He had a "Buy It Now" set at $25.00 so I grabbed it. If that isn't viable, I'm thinking a Mikuni is in my future. A 40 mm Flat Slide TM was reccomended by a friend...is that too big?

Thanks guys. There are a LOT of 34mm Mikuni carbs on eBay. I sure I can find a good one of those
