76 Cyclone Recoil Rebuild Kit

Hi everyone. Great site...great info. Wondering if anyone can let me know if there is a rebuild kit for the recoil starters. I've got a 76 cyclone 340 - looking for a complete kit (if they exist - springs, pawls, washers, rope) - seen a few online that look close - any help would be greatly appreciated....getting tired of starting it off the starter cup

Welcome aboard. It seems like all the vendors have stop selling the parts at this time. I found this on Ebay that will work for you.

Thanks for putting out the welcome mat.

Looks like a great place to start to get me going. Strange that none of the suppliers even has a comparison table or anything to compare it to. Kimpex has a chart, but doesn't list JD, there is a kit on Ebay I noticed that invludes all pieces, but is for a JLO unit - but looks identical to the JD stuff....but...thats half the fun of driving the oldies....searching for replacement parts
