:shifty: You just put it on your nose & upper cheeks, then duct tape your face mask to the duct tape on your nose & cheeks, & then duct tape the whole front of your face mask down to & below your chin, problem is if you have a full beard after the race it takes a while for your beard to unfreeze the ball of Ice that's mixed in with your face mask when all your breath is going down & your face mask & beard get wet from the moisture of your breath..

Joe, I always had a full beard and the duct tape never bothered me. In my case the facial hair was under a pull over mask. It is best to put a piece of gauze over your nose to the tape does not stick directly to your nose. OUCH on removal!!!

you can buy a spray at sporting goods stores. it's ment for hockey visors. we use to spit on our hockey visors growing up. it did help but not sure if it will just freeze when your on a sled.

I second the motion for the Bombardier Modular Helmut. Cost a small fortune but best investment I ever made when it comes to being able to see (wear glasses). Tried Polaris Helmuts (high dollar models) and no luck. You won't be disappointed with the Bomardier.

Bought brand new '80 Liquifire in '79. Sold when I moved to Alaska in '81.
Now restoring '80 Liquifire from bottom up.
