Hi,
Anyone have a good condition (not bent and scratched up like mine) tach for a 340/s? It is AM53193 and is a 10000 RPM tach but it is different than the 80-84 liquifire tachs on ebay I think?
The parts manual says they were used in the earlier liquifires and cyclones and some other sleds too.
Thanks,
Craig

I have a nice tach from a 76 LF, but I don't know if it will work in a 340/S. It has 3 wires; yellow, red, and yellow with red stripe / fuse.

Re: 340s tach
Pat, that tach will work on the 340/S! The only difference might be the white Deere logo on the face. The 340/S tachs were plain.

Troy / Craig
This tach has no JD logo; just the numbers, a Nippendenso logo barely visible at the bottom, and it's 10k rpm.

Re: 340s tach
There you go Craig! That would be the same tach used on the 295/s, JDX8, 800, and 340/s.

Re: 340s tach
I have one - however the black trim is faded, and I'm not sure if it works. If you're interested despite the trim condition, I'll hook it up to my 295/s and test it.
