80 liquifire losing spark

Post by fordmtrsp »

I was wondering if anyone could help it lost spark and I unplug rev limiter still no spark unplug key and kill switch no spark unplug engine above the recoil it has spark. If you leave every thing plugged in and wait a bit it will have spark again and then lose it again. I just got it and it was running fine till this happened. Thank you!!!!

Look for a damaged wire, possibly rubbing on the chassis.

Had the same problem with a cat... unplug everything and clean the connection points to no end. Also make sure your grounds are clean at all points, and of course make sure all the wires are good!!

Today it ran great. the other day the snow was real light and fluffy and was getting into the engine compartment and today it wasnt as bad so I think I had a moister problem.
