Last night I was looking through the 2011 Dennis Kirk catalog and noticed a picture of the rebuild kits for the 5 plate fuel pumps with the shutoff valve. Its on page 269 and is DK # 17-43 (Winderosa #451448). If you look that part number up on DK's online catalog the picture is not the same.
Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of these kits (DK #17-43) and knows what's in it. I've only ever seen the old LLP 07-417 kits that I thought were no longer being manufactured.

Al's Snowmobile still has the 07-417 kits listed under part number AL33322. Never bought one of the Dennis Kirk kits, I use to get mine through MFG Supply.

Re: LF fuel pump rebuild kit
I ordered the the same kit from d.k.. the kit you get is to re-build the new fuel pump that they sell. the picture is a misprint, that is what they told me. they did return it but I had a little problem with the 7.99 return fee but they finally realized it was their error. There is a new 3 piece pump I found somewhere in the forum that works great on my liquifire . Good luck

Re: LF fuel pump rebuild kit
Thanks for the Info. I had a feeling it was a misprint. By the way, I think I was the one that recomend using the DF52-73 to you a while back.
Thanks again

Re: LF fuel pump rebuild kit
Both of my sleds are running the DF52-73 at the moment. I keep kicking around the idea of trying to rebuild and install another 5 plate for originality, but the grief that I've had with the 5 plate in the past I'm not sure I want to just yet.iceygears73 wrote:If I can find an original I'll let you know.

Re: LF fuel pump rebuild kit
Stick with the newer style. Like you said the 5 plate also has given me some problems in the past.
