Hi guys,
Im kind of stumped here, I have a '75 JDX8 with a KEC 440/22. Last year when I was riding it, it started to run lean under load. It would run good at idle, rev up good with track off the ground but would miss/run lean under load. Took the carb off (WRA-31) and found the fuel pump lever/spring was broken. Ordered a carb kit, rebuilt the carb. Started up and set the idle and low speed, then when i rev'd it up it started missing and running like crap. Let off the throttle and it wont idle anymore. Found that when its doing this, #2 cyl isnt firing, there is spark from the wire to the plug (pulled the plug and was soaking wet, changed plug and fired up good but ended up missing again and found plug wet again). I havent pulled the intake off yet and checked the reeds out yet. Any other ideas? And compression is at approx 145psi (after about 3 pulls). Thanks for any input.

CDI or points ignition? The '75 JDX8/800 could be either way.
