1979 kawasaki invader with Liquifie motor

I have a 79 invader but i put a liquifire motor in it with liquifire carbs, what would cause a slight bog on top end. If i let off the throttle just a bit then it picks speed back up?
My sleds, 1982 Liqufire, 1980 Trailfire, 1977 Sno*jet SST.
