hi guys i am still needing a mikuni slide carb for my nieces spitfire she getting mad at me cause she cant ride he sled please any help would be great

I have a butterfly carb if all else fails.

Hey just use it for a conversation piece ! :lol22: :lol22: Well maybe a story about a sled you use to have with this carb on it and well you don't have the ole' girl anymore :roll: you know something to that effect ..

Anyway you know the 11th John deere commandment . Right ?? Thall shall not pawn any unwanted butterfly carbs off onto any unsuspecting sucker that needs one :roll: I know :offtopic:

i know all about the butterfly carb IT SUX BUTT and the round slide is almost imposeible to find
i am planning on going to a local bike salvage yard to see if i can match up a carb can any one tell me what i need to look for

i didnt think it would be this hard to get this carb i just may have to get rid of it too much of a pain in the butt and my niece is getting po ed at me

ok if i was to go looking for a vm28 round slide for this spitfire other than the vm28 by the choke when els should i be looking for

You will also need a throttle cable and a choke cable to make the switch. And a carb flange adapter I think.

i have everything i need for the switch airbox.flange,cables, i have dismantled 3 other spitfires over the past two years i know what jets i need the settings i just need the carb i had one guy email me that he had a nos carb i could buy but he stopped talking to me and i was willing to pay 200 bucks for it his loss i guess
