Wade,

Waters and I used a K-H caliper available new from Wahl racing, but it's the same as the 88-92 era unit Polaris used. It has the same bolt centers and size as the Deere mechanical unit. Kenny is working on an improved adapter bracket, but it looks like some of the original Polaris parts can be used too.

Wahl P/N 08-152 or follow the link: http://www.wahlracing.com/product.php?p ... ck=srclick

We both used a Cat Willwood master cylinder and the Cat brake line fits right into the K-H caliper.

I will post pic's when I am back in NY. I hope this helps,

Wade,

The WW Master has a light switch built into it. We adapted them to the Deere harness, but we got the wires crossed once and the light worked backwards at first.

Wade, Joe - where did you order your master cylinder, and brake line from? Do you have part #'s

Kenny - when you get the improved mounting bracket done, I would be interested in buying a couple, if you would be willing to have some extras made.

Terre, Wade, and everyone,

As soon as I get the update done, I will get pictures up. I am shooting for the updated bracket to use one style pad, not two different ones, as it does now.

I am also considering using the same pressure switch as the 340/S or others (like the Polaris) used in lieu of the handlebar switch, which seems to be NO (normally open) instead of NC (normally closed) on the Cat (Willwood) master cylinder assy.

Wade,

I am going to use the Polaris pads. They have a little more contact area per pad which should offer more braking. The Polaris pads are readily available through sledparts.com for $12.00 a piece.

Kenny.. I hope you can fix a JD Brother up. Looking for things you found that worked good for my 80 Liquifire build.

Thanks
