I'm due to get another inch or so......

OF ICE! Damn I hate that crap. I am gonna sit here and listen for the Chinese Elm out front to snap it's limbs in the wind and take the power line down into the State Route. Had a half inch last night now another 1 to add to it.

I'll check back in 3 to 5 days when my power is restored. :wall:

You should move to Minnesota man we've had the best winter ever this year. I haven't seen grass since November. It's so awesome! :thinksnow:

Do you have a Pioneer Hi-Bred Seed Corn up there ? I could transfer...LOL.

We had back in December close to 17 inches, awesome snow, 2 warm days took it all away.

Well...experts are saying this could be the biggest on record...Chicago's record was set in the Blizzard of 1967, I remember the Blizzard of 1978-79 but I was 8 years old....this is something and I only hope she keeps dumping and I am getting pics and have sleds too....the winter of 78-79 started the sled factuation for me then...dang uncles....love it...

I was 10 during the 78 blizzard. I remember only snowmobiles were the only vehicles moving for 4 days afterwards.

24"? That steel post you've got the dog chained to ought to work really well... as a can opener on sled belly pans.

Blizzard conditions here since afternoon. They're talking maybe 8", but we already had good ridable conditions before, so its not really a big deal...except I will have to plow the stuff again. :wall:

Danzig, Pioneer is looking for regional sales reps up here in Fargo. and we always have snow! Even in May you might find some left in the tree rows! We're not gonna get this storm though. Instead our thermometer is heading to -30.....again!

-30 here also.

8 inches or super light powder blowing around.

Schools closed 3 days now.

My daughter actually wants to go back.
