Gauging interest in new motor mounts

Post by Matt »

Since it seems supply is very limited on rubber motor mounts, I sent two NOS pieces to be assessed for reproduction.

First is the M63118. Fitment: All 00 series, all JDX series, 295/S, and 340/S. This part also subs to M66865, which is correct for the 1976 Liquidator, Liquifire, and Cyclone.

Second is the M66785. Fitment: 1977+ Liquifire/Cyclone, ALL Spitfire, Trailfire, Sportfire, Sprintfire, and Snowfire.

These two parts should cover every John Deere Snowmobile motor mount with the exception of the 80+ Liquifire.

Providing I get enough pre-orders, the pre-order price would be $50/set of 4. Please reply with how many sets you would be interested in and of what type at that price.

Keep in mind Matt that DK sold hundreds of the M66865. They are still out there. Just saying

Chuck, thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I didn't know that, I've not seen them for sale very often.

I recall DK selling a bunch of the M66785, but not M63118. The only place we ever got any of those was from Stebner.

The bulk of our membership needs these, but I don't know if they'll spring for them.

I see vibration damping bushings in their catalog, but none that look anywhere near that large, and I'm guessing they would not have the steel bushing in the center. Have you found some that worked?

I'd be interested in the '00/JDX style. Mine are looking pretty sorry.

McMaster Carr. I'm going to order one to compare to NOS.
