Need any info on locating new fuel tank bushing?

I think you can still get that from John Deere, they use it on the snow blowers. The number got subbed out to a diferent one though that I don't remember. Maybe someone will chim in that knows the new number.

I believe this will work also, it fits a 1/2" hole. Confirm before you buy one though. You can use your fitting, with their grommet.

The new part number from Deere is M149638. It will be an orange color and has 2 flats on the large diameter. They are about $2 each here. Shadetree power sports has about the cheapes price I've seen but by the time you pay for shipping it's more than $2.

They are also used on many lawnmowers, like Toro, Snapper, MTD, ect.

I bought those same ones that Nick mentioned. They work just fine.

My speculation is that the orange material might tolerate the ethanol a little better. Only installed it 6 months ago, so time will tell.

I think I installed mine around March of 2010 if I remember correctly. Looks good so far.

Orange might indicate silicon rubber.

You can go to any J/D dfaler and get them got 5 of them from North Field Tractor
