NOS Liquidator Tank on Ebay

Post by johnnycyclone »

Not sure if anyone hear has spotted this, but I thought I would post it. It's not mine, but I wish it was, I could use the money for my 78 Liquifire project.

Yep I've been watching it since the first day. Not planning on bidding on it though being it's already at almost half of what I payed for my whole Dator lol

It's not just for long rides, it's a collectible. The buyer may never put fuel in it.

The question is, will this one get pulled off ebay for a back-channel deal like the CC suspension? :naughty:

Yea I agree 100%.That is my biggest problem w ebay. You see somthing you like and it mysteriously disapears,or a dog ate it.Seriously i contacted a seller and he stated that a dog ate a snowmobile cover, that is why he had to remove it from auction.BULL###T

Yeah I'm sure it'll probably never have gas in it and that it is a collectible, but still, 800 bucks and still climbing? Holy crap!!

I'm just curious whether this is the second one of these to surface this year or if its the one Rich had available recently for around the $600-range. It's really interesting seeing these unique items pop up and get the attention they do. NOS and used Deere snowmobile covers have been going high and a NOS Liquifire/Kawasaki water pump that sold for $260, just to mention a couple. I don't think the NOS 340/s pistons going for $400 was out of line at all considering their rarity. But prices have definitely been rising this year with the increasing interest in vintage sleds.

Well since I invest in it.....Gold ....March 1995 ($385) March 2011 ($1435) . About 372 % gain for me.

NOS Liquidator tanks in March 1995 ($45) Dator tank in March 2011 ($861.50) THAT IS A 1941 % gain for Mark.

Mark is a smart investor.

Obviuosly need to sell all investments and buy NOS Dator parts !!!

Mark...remember me in your will.

Thanx Dave
