AM54757 is an invalid part # according to Deere's computer. Usually Deere's computer will almost always refer to any valid part # even if it is obsolete. In my 30 years I would say I've only seen it miss a part # three times so it's usually pretty reliable.

Also, AM54757 does not appear in any of my John Deere MPI (master parts index) editions, both AG (agricultural) and CP (consumer products) so I theorize it is a production part #.

I forget, does the track have cleats? If so Deere would have assigned it a new part # since it the track now consisted of two seperate parts, the track and the cleats.

If no cleats then perhaps Deere simply assigned it a different part # for some other reason, unknown to us.

Guys , I measured it up and it seems to be 3 1/4 pitch and 115 length.
why doesnt that match a jd part number? That dimension would make
it a involute rubber track for a 80-84 liquifire , but the numbers dont
match?????? I got the track with a 76 liqifier near Horicon. Could it be
a R&D track cause it seems to have a 2/78 code on it, which may be
a date code????
interesting, Thanks jed
ps no cleats and the number is am54757

Could it have something to do with the 79 Liquifire prototypes?

If you do a search for the part number, you'll see that Kenny asked the same question back in 2008.

This is what it says when I look up AM54757 on Deere's part search:
Requested product is obsolete.
Requested part is not marketed in the ordering country

Im thinking it was a part number only marketed and available in Canada.
